 Injuries & Accidents

Dogs are active animals, and normal play can occasionally result in minor injuries such as scratches, cuts, bruises, sore muscles or other accidental injuries.

While we take reasonable precautions and actively supervise the dogs, we cannot guarantee that an accident or injury will never occur.

If your dog is injured while in our care:

  1. We will assess the situation and provide appropriate support for the injury
  2. You will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible if the injury requires attention or is more than minor.
  3. If we believe your dog requires urgent veterinary care, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and/or your emergency contact and arrange veterinary care when necessary.
  4. The owner is responsible for veterinary costs associated with treating their dog, unless the injury resulted from negligence or another circumstance for which the daycare is legally responsible.
  5. In an emergency where the owner cannot be reached, the daycare may authorize necessary veterinary treatment to protect the dog’s health and safety, with the owner’s responsibility for reasonable veterinary expenses.

Please provide an up-to-date emergency contact and veterinarian’s information before your dog’s first daycare visit.
